Little cabinet makeover

So many wanted a tutorial on how we made over this cute little cabinet. To start with, I have always wanted an apothecary cabinet or an old library catalog cabinet. I love lots of drawers!
We found this cabinet at an antique shop for $25. This is how it looked when we bought it.

It is certainly cute but the wood looked like it was spray painted in some areas and the wood was too orangey for me so we sanded it down.
As you can see, the wood tone is much better here. Next, this cabinet has 4 drawers but I wanted the illusion of multiple drawers so we scored it down the middle using a circular saw but any saw will do if you have a square measure and a sturdy hand!
Next, we had these antique drawer pulls we got on Amazon. They didn't have the labels so I made my own with coffee stained paper to make it look more authentic. I tore some of them and left some out so it looked like it came out of an old library. I love how it turned out!
